Ecosave Australia & NZ, leading Net Zero solutions provider, is pleased to announce that it has completed the acquisition of CarbonetiX, a Melbourne-based sustainability advisory company. The acquisition is aligned with Ecosave’s strategy to accelerate growth and expand its breadth of offering.
CarbonetiX has a 20-year history in the sustainability advisory space and has delivered energy and water efficiency measures for public and private organisations across Australia. Utilising in-house carbon accounting software, CarbonMetriX, the company has also supported many organisations to keep track of their emissions over the years.
Speaking about the transaction, Ecosave’s Group Managing Director, Robin Archibald, stated, “We see real synergies in the acquisition, and are confident that the complementary skill sets will support our growth ambitions.”
CarbonetiX’s current key clients include various local governments in Victoria and the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP). Through the acquisition, CarbonetiX’s existing clients will be transferred to Ecosave. “As Local Government is a key sector for Ecosave, our focus will be on continuing long-term partnerships with these clients,” Mr Archibald said.
Managing Director of Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) and Executive Director of Ecosave Group, Tolga Dagli, said that the company would be able to provide even more comprehensive offerings to its clients through this transaction. “The alignment in mission to deliver practical, cost-effective emissions reduction solutions is what attracted us to acquire CarbonetiX. The transaction will enhance our advisory and carbon reporting offering to provide our clients more value,” he added.

The acquisition follows the announcement last month that Ecosave Australia & NZ has received investment from Palisade Impact and John Clifford to accelerate growth in Net Zero solutions.
